When I started this blog I had every intention of posting something at least once a week. It’s almost as though I forgot my own subject matter as chronic illness doesn’t give a flying **** about anyone’s plans.
The last few weeks have not been exactly pleasurable, but I am trying to create a coherent piece (which currently exists as a rambling, jerky mess…) documenting how a change in treatment has affected me.
At first, it felt like I was making an arduous, but fruitful, hillside ascent: I hadn’t accounted for the sheer drop on the other side…
So, I’m digging my nails into the cliff face in the hope of not meeting a messy end – but that does mean I have to admit that certain things are simply not going to get done on schedule.
Hasta…? Well, soon(ish)
At least I’m still on the right side of the grave, eh?
